A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news launch from the park.
The lady approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Outdated Faithful geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison live at the park, and so they have injured more individuals than any other animal, the park said.
When the customer came within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet within the air, the park said.
The woman had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two different people have been additionally close to the animal when it gored the girl, the park said. The release didn’t say in the event that they had been injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
