10 injured, 3 regulation enforcement officers hurt after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are still working the scene.

Two folks have been arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police stated.

These suspects were recognized as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing experiences from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office. 

Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest. 

Officials stated more arrests are expected.

Officers mentioned South Road from Nassau Avenue to Drake Avenue and America Avenue from Reid Road to Mary Road in the area will stay closed to process the capturing scene.
