The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District police power are not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty and the state's overview of the law enforcement response, multiple regulation enforcement sources inform ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Impartial College District didn't immediately reply to requests for comment from ABC Information.

In accordance with sources, the decision to cease cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information conference Friday during which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the wrong decision" and contrary to protocol.
