Federal brokers entered Uvalde school to kill gunman despite local police initially asking them to attend

Federal brokers who went to Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 kids have been told by native police to attend and never enter the school — and then decided after about half an hour to disregard that preliminary guidance and discover the shooter, say two senior federal legislation enforcement officers.
