Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Huge Macs day by day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Large Mac. I’ve counted each Large Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All via life here, lots of people stated, ‘You’ll be lifeless before you reach 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I guess I proved them wrong,” he said.

His son is not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had blissful meals. I at all times cherished my chicken nuggets, and my brother at all times beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life form of factor for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a various weight loss program.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets on daily basis. I used to eat cheeseburgers on daily basis, but finally you simply get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, however he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.

“Quite a lot of occasions folks will say, ‘You look like I’m consuming a Huge Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d quite eat,” he said.
