Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Huge Macs day-after-day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak began on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count every Big Mac. I’ve counted every Large Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Massive Macs a day.

“All by life here, lots of people said, ‘You’ll be useless before you reach 50 years of consuming Big Macs.’ I assume I proved them incorrect,” he stated.

His son isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had glad meals. I all the time liked my hen nuggets, and my brother always cherished his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse eating regimen.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets on daily basis. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, however ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he certainly does,” he stated.

Gorske says he will continue consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.
