Household of Kidnapped Lady Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old woman from North Richland Hills is now home after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airlines Middle. However the household nonetheless seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not performing swiftly sufficient concerning the crime, which had the lady as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” legal professional Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that approach (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims against them for his or her negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry stated the teenager’s father informed police on the game when he realized she was lacking. However, according to the legal professional, the father was informed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police said they weren’t able to assist as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional mentioned it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that labored to seek out the missing lady, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

Dallas Police told WFAA that they followed protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.
