Teen arrested after mom observed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of businesses responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center School round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen by no means made it contained in the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm along with several different businesses in an attempt to search out him.
The teenager was discovered close to the varsity’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old might be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anyone inside the school.
O.L. Slaton Middle School was briefly positioned on lockout as a result of the incident.
