Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Massive Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak began on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by way of life right here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be lifeless before you reach 50 years of eating Big Macs.’ I guess I proved them flawed,” he mentioned.

His son isn't shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I at all times cherished my hen nuggets, and my brother at all times loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an on a regular basis life sort of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has extra of a diversified food plan.

“I used to eat hen nuggets daily. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, but finally you just get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, but he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll proceed consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect until he dies.

“A lot of times folks will say, ‘You appear to be I’m consuming a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske said. “I suppose that’s how I feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d moderately eat,” he said.
