The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District police pressure are no longer cooperating with the Texas Division of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College and the state's review of the regulation enforcement response, a number of legislation enforcement sources inform ABC Information.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent School District didn't instantly reply to requests for remark from ABC News.
In keeping with sources, the choice to cease cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news conference Friday throughout which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the fallacious determination" and contrary to protocol.
