Teen arrested after mother seen son had gun at Texas college drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray News) - A number of companies responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a young person’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager by no means made it contained in the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm along with a number of different companies in an attempt to find him.
The teen was discovered near the varsity’s campus and brought into custody.
