In Michigan, students at Oxford High College, where a college taking pictures occurred in November, staged a walkout at 12 p.m. on Thursday. 4 students have been killed in the taking pictures.

The 17 year-old says her faculty's administration was in support of the walkout and she hopes the over 200 planned demonstrations across the nation send a clear message that students are a "united entrance."

She stated that though most students aren't sufficiently old to vote, they still want to see change and are prepared to take measures to have their voices heard in politics.
