- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die ersten Suchmaschinen im Internet an, das frühe Web zu ordnen. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten zügig den Wert einer bevorzugten Listung in den Resultaten und recht bald fand man Betriebe, die sich auf die Verfeinerung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen ereignete sich der Antritt oft über die Übermittlung der URL der entsprechenden Seite in puncto verschiedenartigen Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webseite auf den Web Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein weiteres Anwendung, der bekannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die damaligen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die anhand der Webmaster selbst existieren werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Search Engines wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Übersicht mit Essenz einer Seite, aber registrierte sich bald raus, dass die Verwendung der Tipps nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts repräsentieren vermochten. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Websites bei speziellen Suchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Punkte innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu manipulieren, dass die Seite überlegen in den Ergebnissen gefunden wird.[3] Da die frühen Suchmaschinen sehr auf Kriterien dependent waren, die nur in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Missbrauch und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um überlegenere und relevantere Urteile in Serps zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Operatoren der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Faktoren integrieren. Weil der Gewinn einer Search Engine davon abhängig ist, wesentliche Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten unpassende Testurteile zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benützer nach sonstigen Möglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auflösung der Internet Suchmaschinen vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Platz, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht gerade leicht beeinflussbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwarfen mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Google – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
