Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer lieblings Listung in den Resultaten und recht bald entstanden Anstalt, die sich auf die Aufbesserung qualifizierten. In den Anfängen bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Transfer der URL der geeigneten Seite in puncto verschiedenartigen Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Kritische Auseinandersetzung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Homepage auf den Server der Recherche, wo ein weiteres Computerprogramm, der bekannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die damaligen Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Informationen, die aufgrund der Webmaster selber vorliegen werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Überblick mit Thema einer Seite, jedoch registrierte sich bald hervor, dass die Einsatz dieser Hinweise nicht solide war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Beschreibung des Seiteninhalts widerspiegeln vermochten. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Websites bei spezifischen Suchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller unterschiedliche Attribute innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu steuern, dass die Seite besser in den Resultaten gelistet wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Suchmaschinen im Internet sehr auf Faktoren abhängig waren, die nur in den Koffern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um bessere und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in Resultaten zu erhalten, mussten sich die Operatoren der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Voraussetzungen adjustieren. Weil der Gelingen einer Anlaufstelle davon abhängt, wichtigste Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten unpassende Vergleichsergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die Nutzer nach anderweitigen Wege zur Suche im Web umschauen. Die Antwort der Suchmaschinen im WWW fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Rang, die Merkmalen beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Suchalgorithmus basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfließen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
