Paul Pelosi: Nancy Pelosi’s husband arrested on DUI charges

Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. PT and charged with driving beneath the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content material of 0.08% or greater, in line with the Napa County Felony Justice Network's public booking report. Both costs are misdemeanors.

Pelosi was trying to cross SR-29 when his 2021 Porsche was hit by a 2014 Jeep traveling northbound on the street, in line with a collision report from the California Freeway Patrol, which does not identify both driver as being at fault in the crash. Troopers had been referred to as to the scene just before 10:30 p.m., the report stated.

There have been no accidents reported in the crash and the Jeep's driver was not arrested, the report said.

CNN has reached out to the highway patrol and the Napa County Sheriff's Workplace for added details.

Bail was set at $5,000 according to the reserving report, and records point out Pelosi was released Sunday morning.

"The Speaker is not going to be commenting on this private matter which occurred whereas she was on the East Coast," an announcement from Drew Hammill, Pelosi's spokesperson, said. CNN reached out for an updated assertion after the collision report was released.
