A California district lawyer declined to file charges Tuesday towards former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson after he was recorded on video in a physical altercation with one other passenger on a JetBlue flight.
San Mateo County District Lawyer Steve Wagstaffe made the choice after having reviewed police experiences and videos of the April 20 incident. Both the passenger, who has not been identified, and Tyson requested that no prices be filed.

"Our resolution is that we are going to not file any costs towards Mr. Tyson based on the circumstances surrounding the confrontation. These embrace the conduct of the victim main as much as the incident, the interplay between Mr. Tyson and the victim, in addition to the requests of each the sufferer and Mr. Tyson that no prices be filed on this case," Wagstaffe mentioned.
The case is now closed.

David Chesnoff, Richard Schonfeld and Martin Sabelli, attorneys for Tyson, responded to the choice to not file prices by thanking Wagstaffe, the San Mateo County sheriff and law enforcement businesses "for his or her cautious, diligent, and professional work."
