BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "college shooter" were found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of costs.

An elevated amount of cops have been positioned at schools within the communities because of the indicators. A number of colleges initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the indicators across the communities, the Division of Safety stated, but they determined there is no such thing as a credible risk at this time.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection division launched a photograph of the plate however blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor charges together with false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged right now.
