BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "faculty shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple expenses.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety said, however they determined there isn't a credible menace at this time.
The New Hampshire Division of Security is investigating signs that read 'faculty shooter!' which had been found in a number of communities New Hampshire Division of SafetyOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The security division released a photograph of the plate but blurred part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of prison threatening and three misdemeanor fees together with false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged right now.
