Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Near White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in secure situation, officials stated. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
