Investigators consider Mtula Payton was one of the alleged gang members who opened hearth in downtown Sacramento on April 3. He was taken into custody at an condominium complex, the Sacramento Police Division mentioned in a press release Saturday night time.

“Las Vegas Metro Police Division labored with our detectives for weeks in an effort to locate Payton,” the assertion stated.

Payton and two others, brothers Smiley Martin and Dandrae Martin, were charged this month with homicide within the slayings, as well as weapons offenses.

Investigators offered no motive however stated in court documents that Smiley Martin and his companions recorded a web based video hours before the capturing, flashing weapons and speaking trash from a location in rival gang territory.
