Family of Abducted Girl Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Sex Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old woman from North Richland Hills is now residence after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airways Center. But the family still seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not appearing swiftly sufficient relating to the crime, which had the woman as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a complete of 11 days,” legal professional Zeke Fortenberry mentioned. “Our intent is that means (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for his or her negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry mentioned the teenager’s father knowledgeable police at the recreation when he realized she was lacking. However, in keeping with the legal professional, the daddy was instructed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police.

Dallas Police advised WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was discovered, the team releasing the next assertion: “The American Airways Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Both entities will continue to cooperate with native and regional regulation enforcement on this case.''
